Within the Global DWH Engineering Team you can work with a huge amount of data and help us to improve by using it in the right way in Germany, Poland, Mexico, Italy and Austria.

We’re not only dealing with data, but also heading towards Continuous Delivery and constantly improve and converge our systems to become a truly Global Data Warehouse by migrating our services into the public cloud. But you will not only be responsible for ensuring the quality of our data products but also for defining automation strategies in the public cloud.

Your tasks:

  • You analyze, understand and accompany requirements from the first user story until go-live within an agile team
  • You are part of and participate in an active QA community
  • You define QA processes in an agile team
  • You develop test automation strategies and automation of software tests
  • You develop and implement test concepts and strategies
  • You assist in methodology, guidance and develop test patterns
  • You document and monitor testing outcomes and establish steps to remedy problems
  • You develop and maintain test execution steps in an automated framework
  • You document test cases and create effective and focused testing plans and test reports
  • You do unit test reviews
  • Python, Google Cloud Services (BigQuery, Dataproc, Cloud Build, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, Cloud Composer, DataFlow) , Terraform, Airflow, Kafka, Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Helm, Oracle PL/SQL

Your skills:

  • You have 6+ years of work experience as a Data Quality Engineer or in a similar position
  • You have 3+ years of work experience with Google Cloud Services
  • You are a clean coder with an agile mindset, and you love DevOps
  • You have very good Python knowledge
  • Mass data doesn't scare you and you have experience with Google Cloud Services
  • You have experience with software testing
  • * Hands-on experience with unit, component and system testing
  • * Experience with test automation
  • You are characterized by your high-quality awareness and your trustworthiness
  • You can work independently in an agile team
  • You have very good English language skills
