We are looking for a dedicated professional to join our cross-functional team, contributing to the development of solutions for one of our international airline clients. This role involves working closely with customers, product owners, and the development team to ensure high-quality delivery through effective testing and continuous improvement.
Your responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Team:
- Work alongside a diverse team to develop and deliver solutions tailored to our international airline customer’s needs.
- Requirement Analysis:
- Understand customer requirements and translate them into test designs and scenarios.
- Define clear acceptance criteria in collaboration with the product owner and the development team.
- Test Development:
- Support the team in defining and executing both automated and manual test scenarios to ensure comprehensive coverage and quality. Review test design and test code authored by other team members.
- Test Suite Maintenance:
- Maintain, improve, and enhance the Java-based test suite, adapting it to meet evolving technical and business requirements.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Actively contribute to the continuous development and improvement of the team in both technical and organizational areas.
- Self-Sufficiency and Initiative:
- Demonstrate self-sufficiency in managing tasks and take the initiative to identify and resolve issues proactively.
Your Profile:
- Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years in testing complex software applications
- At least 2 years of experience in Java coding.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency with relational databases, including Oracle and/or PostgreSQL.
- Experience with cloud-based software, particularly AWS, is highly desirable.
- Domain Knowledge:
- A background in Loyalty/CRM systems or the airline industry is a strong plus.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Customer-oriented and agile mindset.
- Strong communication skills and a high level of personal responsibility.
- Language Skills:
- Fluent in English; conversational German is a plus.
- Tech Stack: Java, shell scripting, SOAP and REST web services, Oracle and Postgres databases, JUnit, maven, git, Jira, Jenkins, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes
